Bus Detour for Nos. 22, 84B, 156, and 159 in North Bergen - Thursday, December 4, 2025

Effective Thursday, December 4, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Bergenline Avenue will be closed between 76th Street and 85th Street for the North Bergen 2025 Winterfest. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 22, 84B, 156, and 159 in North Bergen will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Hoboken, Jersey City, and the Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel from Bergenline Avenue and 85th Street, make a right on 85th Street, left on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, left on 76th Street, right on Bergenline Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward North Bergen, Englewood Cliffs, and Fort Lee will travel from Bergenline Avenue and 76th Street, make a left on 76th Street, right on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, right on 85th Street, left on Bergenline Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
