Bus Detour for No. 834 in Highlands – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Saturday, December 6, at 10:00 PM, Bay Avenue will be closed between Central and Huddy Avenues due to a Christmas Tree Lighting. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 834 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Highlands will travel from Bay and Washington Avenues, make a left on Washington Avenue, right on Shore Drive, right on Huddy Drive, right on Bay Avenue, and then end the trip.     
• Buses traveling toward Red Bank will travel from Bay Street and Washington Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
