Bus Detour for Nos. 10 and 119 in Bayonne - Sunday, December 7, 2025
Effective Sunday, December 7, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, John F. Kennedy Boulevard will be closed between Ramapo Avenue and Andrew Street for the Guadalupan Torch Run.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 10 and 119 in Bayonne will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Jersey City and the Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel from John F. Kennedy Boulevard and North Street, make a right on North Street, continue on West 8th Street, continue on Avenue E, make a left on East 50th Street, make a right on Broadway, continue on Garfield Avenue, make a left on Merritt Street, make a right on Ocean Avenue, make a left on Gates Avenue, make a left on Seaview Avenue, make a right on Old Bergen Road, make a right on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Bayonne will travel from John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Ramapo Avenue, make a left on Ramapo Avenue, make a right on Old Bergen Road, make a left on Merritt Street, make a right on Garfield Avenue, continue on Broadway, make a left on East 47th Street, make a right on Avenue E, continue on West 8th Street, continue on North Street, make a left on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
