Bus Detour for No. 752 in Ridgewood - Friday, December 5, 2025
Effective Friday, December 5, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Ridgewood Avenue will be closed between South Maple Avenue and South Broad Street for the Downtown for the Holidays and Tree Lighting Celebration.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 752 in Ridgewood will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Oakland Service at Godwin Avenue and Ackerman Avenue, make a right on Ackerman Avenue, left on South Maple Avenue, left on Prospect Street, and right on Dayton Street.
- Begin the trip for Ridgewood Terminal Service at the Methodist Church, continue on Dayton Street, left on South Maple Avenue, continue on North Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Ridgewood/Oakland will travel from Franklin Avenue and North Maple Avenue, continue on North Maple Avenue, continue on South Maple Avenue, make a right on Dayton Street, and the trip ends at Dayton Street and Prospect Street (side of Ridgewood Terminal).
- For Oakland Service make a left on Prospect Street, right on South Maple Avenue, right on Ackerman Avenue, left on Godwin Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
