Bus Detour for No. 175 in Ridgewood - Friday, December 5, 2025

Effective Friday, December 5, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, East Ridgewood Avenue will be closed between South Maple Avenue and South Broad Street for the Downtown for the Holidays Tree Lighting.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 175 in Ridgewood will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward GWB will travel from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Prospect Street, continue on Prospect Street, make a right on South Maple Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Ridgewood will travel from South Maple Avenue and Union Street, make a left on Union Street, left on Dayton Street, left on Prospect Street to the bus layover, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
