Bus Detour for No. 753 in Cresskill – Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Effective Tuesday, December 9, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Madison Avenue will be closed between Piermont Road and Jefferson Avenue due to a funeral.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT No. 753 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Paramus will travel from Union and Grant Avenues, make a right on Grant Avenue, left on Jefferson Avenue, right on Madison Avenue, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Cresskill will travel from Madison and Jefferson Avenues, make a left on Jefferson Avenue, make a right on Grant Avenue, left on Union Avenue, and then continue the regular route.          

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
