Bus Detour for Nos. 163 & 164 in East Rutherford – Friday, December 12, 2025

Effective Friday, December 12 at 8:00 PM, until Saturday, December 13 at 8:00 AM, Route 120 will be closed between Route 3 West and Paterson Plank Road due to construction. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 163 & 164 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Paterson Plank Road, continue on Berry’s Creek Road, continue on Road C, right on North Service Road to access Route 3 East, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Ridgewood/Midland Park will by-pass the exit for Route 120 North, keep right to continue on Route 3 West, take the exit for Sport Complex Service Road, right on North Service Road, left at Stop Sign, continue on Berry’s Creek Road, left on Paterson Plank Road, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
