Bus Detour for Nos. 400, 401, 402, 404, 406, 408, 409, 410, 412 & 551 in Philadelphia – Thursday, January 1, 2026

Effective Thursday, January 1, from 2:00 AM until 11:59 PM, Market and Broad Streets will be closed between 11th and Vine Streets due to the Annual Mummers Day Parade.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 400, 401, 402, 404, 406, 408, 409, 410, 412 & 551 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Philadelphia  will not be affected.  
• Buses traveling toward Various Locations will travel from Market and 11th Streets, make a right on 11th Street, right on Vine Street, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
