Bus Detour for Nos. 403 & 451 in Camden – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately, and continuing weekdays from 6:00 AM Monday until 5:00 PM Friday, through Friday, September 25, MLK Jr. Boulevard will be closed between Kaighns Avenue and Haddon Avenue due to long-term construction.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 403 and 451 will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Walter Reed Transportation Center will travel from Haddon and Kaighns Avenues, make a left on Kaighns Avenue, right on Mt. Ephraim Avenue, left on Chestnut Street, right on Route 676 North, right on Exit 5A for MLK Jr. Boulevard, right on Broadway, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Turnersville/Vorhees Town Center will travel from Federal Street and Haddon Avenue, make a right on Haddon Avenue, left on MLK Jr. Boulevard, right on Route 676 South, right on Exit 4 ramp, left on Atlantic Avenue, left on 8th Street, right on Kaighn Avenue, right on Haddon Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
