Bus Detour for No. 116 in Woodbridge Township - Sunday, March 8, 2026

Effective Sunday, March 8, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Amboy Avenue (Route 35) and Rahway Avenue/Berry Street for the St Patrick's Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 116 in Woodbridge Township will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Amboy Avenue (Route 35) and New Street, make a right on New Street, right on Fulton Street, left on Legion Place, left on Berry Street, continue on Rahway Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Perth Amboy will travel from Rahway Avenue and Main Street, continue on Rahway Avenue, which turns into Berry Street, make a right on Legion Place, left on Fulton Street, right on Albert Street, left on Amboy Avenue (Route 35), and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
