Bus Detour for Nos. 167, 177, and 186 in Bergenfield - Sunday, March 15, 2026

Effective Sunday, March 15, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, North Washington Avenue and South Washington Avenue will be closed between West Church Street and New Bridge Road for the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 167, 177, and 186 in Bergenfield will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward PABT/GWB will travel from North Washington Avenue and West Church Street, make a right on West Church Street, left on North Front Street, right on Woodbine Street, left on New Bridge Road, right on South Washington Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Dumont will travel from South Washington Avenue and New Bridge Road, make a left on New Bridge Road, right on Woodbine Street, continue on North Front Street, right on West Church Street, left on North Washington Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
