Bus Detour for No. 108 in Newark – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Friday, March 27, at 5:00 PM, Central Avenue will be closed between University Avenue and Washington/Orange Streets due to construction. 

NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 108 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Sate Street and University Avenue, continue on State Street, right onto Broad Street, left on Park Place, and then continue the regular route. 
• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Raymond Boulevard and Mulberry Street, continue on Raymond Boulevard, right on Washington Street, left on Warren Street, right on MLK Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.     

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
