Bus Detour for Route Nos. 74 & 190 in Paterson – Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Effective on Wednesday, April 1, from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Madison and Crooks Avenues due to a movie shoot. 

NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 74 and 190 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York/Newark will travel from Main Street and Madison Avenue, make a left on Madison Avenue, right on Getty Avenue, right on Crooks Avenue, left on Main Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    
• Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from Main and Crooks Avenues, make a right on Crooks Avenue, left on Getty Avenue, left on Madison Avenue, right on Main Street ,and the continue the regular route.          

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
