Bus Detour for No. 96 in Irvington - Effective Immediately

Effective Tuesday, March 31 until Friday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Lyons Avenue will be closed between Cordier Street and Coit Street for milling and paving.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 96 in Irvington will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Chancellor Avenue will travel from Lyons Avenue and Coit Street, continue on Lyons Avenue, make a left on Grove Street, right on Coit Street, left on Chancellor Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
