Bus Detour for Route Nos. 160 & 703 in Wallington – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Friday, April 24 at 7:00 AM, Paterson Avenue will be closed between Locust Avenue and Poplar Street due to milling work. 

NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 160 and 703 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT/East Rutherford will travel from Locust and Paterson Avenues, continue on Locust Lane, make a left on Carlton Avenue, left on West Erie Avenue, left on Maple Street, right on Central Avenue, left on Poplar Street, right on Paterson Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 
  • Buses traveling toward Elmwood Park/Haledon will travel from Paterson Avenue and Oak Street, make a left on Oak Street, left on Central Avenue, right on Maple Avenue, right on West Erie Avenue, right on Carlton Avenue, right on Locust Avenue, continue on Locust Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
