UPDATE: Newark Broad Street Station: Eastbound Staircase Temporary Closed for Repairs - Effective Immediately through Friday, May 28, 2021

UPDATE: Extended end date below.

Effective immediately and now continuing through Friday, May 28, the staircase located on the Eastbound Platform for tracks 1 and 3 on University Avenue at Newark Broad Street Station will be temporarily closed for platform repairs.

During this time, customers may use the elevator within the tunnel from MLK Blvd. or the staircase on University Avenue at the main entrance to access the platforms.

Please allow for extra travel time, and for your safety, obey all posted signs and do not travel through barricaded areas.

We appreciate your patience during these important repairs.
