Edison Station: Eastbound & Westbound Elevators Out of Service One at a Time for Repairs – Wednesday, August 18 & Thursday, August 19, 2021

The Eastbound and Westbound elevators at Edison Station will be temporarily out of service for cleaning and repairs, one at a time, as follows:

  • On Wednesday, August 18, the Eastbound Elevator will be out of service.
    • During this time, customers may use the ramp to access the Eastbound Platform.

  • On Thursday, August 19, the Westbound Elevator will be out of service.
    • During this time, customers may consider the following travel alternatives:
      • Traveling TO Edison from points east (e.g., Newark/New York): Remain on the train to New Brunswick and then transfer to an inbound train to Edison Station.
      • Traveling FROM Edison Station to points west (e.g., Trenton): Take an inbound train to Metuchen Station and then transfer to an outbound train to your destination.

Customers may also wish to utilize the closest accessible stations on the Northeast Corridor, which are Metuchen and New Brunswick.

Please allow for extra time navigating the station.
