Elizabeth and North Elizabeth Stations: Westbound Amtrak Track Maintenance – Friday, October 25 to Monday, October 28, 2024
Effective Friday, October 25, through Monday, October 28, boarding will be affected on the westbound platforms at Elizabeth and North Elizabeth stations due to Amtrak track maintenance.
Track 4 at both stations will be closed at the following times:
- From 10PM on Friday through 8AM on Saturday.
- From 10PM on Saturday through 8AM on Sunday.
- From 10PM on Sunday through 6AM on Monday.
During these times, westbound trains will operate on track 3 and utilize low-level platforming at North Elizabeth and Elizabeth stations.
Customers requiring level boarding must call (908) 324-3517 to arrange transportation between Newark Penn Station and North Elizabeth or Elizabeth stations.
- Westbound customers traveling to Elizabeth or North Elizabeth should arrange service from Newark Penn Station and detrain at Newark Penn Station.
- Westbound customers beginning their trips at Elizabeth or North Elizabeth must arrange transportation to Newark Penn Station to access westbound service.
