Beginning on Tuesday, June 29 and continuing until further notice, access to the Track A north entrance, located in the Main Concourse at Newark Penn Station will be temporarily unavailable due to tile replacement work.

On Tuesday, June 29 through Thursday, July 1, Escalator 1A, serving tracks 1 and 2 at Penn Station New York, will be temporarily out of service for maintenance.

On Wednesday, June 23 through Friday, June 25, Escalator 7A, serving the 31^st Street entrance at Penn Station New York, will be temporarily out of service for maintenance.

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Escalator 3, which serves tracks E & F in the Southern Mezzanine at Secaucus Junction is temporarily out of service for repairs.

Effective immediately until further notice, Escalator 19, which is located at the west end of A/B platform at Secaucus Junction will be temporarily out of service for repairs.

During this time, customers may use Escalator 20 and Elevator 4 on the west end of the platform, Escalators 22, 23 and 24 in the middle of the platform, Escalator 26 on the east, and Escalator 29 on the far east of the platform.

We appreciate your patience during these important repairs.

UPDATE: Entrance has been reopened.

Beginning on Monday, June 14 and continuing until further notice, the north entrance to Track 5 – located to the left of the Amtrak Customer Service counter in the Main Concourse at Newark Penn Station – will be temporarily unavailable due to tile-replacement work.

Effective immediately and continuing until approximately Wednesday, June 16, Escalator 4 at Hamilton Station is temporarily out of service for repairs.

During this time, customers may use nearby elevator or stairs to access the platform.

For your safety, please do not travel through barricaded areas, and do not remove barricades. Escalator stairs are closed.

Delays of up to 30 minutes possible in both directions

On Saturday, June 12 from 6AM until 8PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains between Long Branch and New York may experience delays of up to 30 minutes in both directions due to track work between South Amboy and Rahway. Trains operating from Long Branch to Bay Head may also be delayed due to possible delays from the connecting New York train.

Beginning late Friday, June 11 and continuing through early Sunday evening, June 13, buses (operated by Leprechaun Bus Company) will replace Port Jervis Line trains between Harriman and Port Jervis stations due to maintenance work on the Moodna Viaduct.

On Sunday, June 6, new Rail schedules will take effect on all lines. Schedule updates reflect anticipated ridership growth associated with economic reopening and include restoration of certain temporary service reductions implemented in August 2020.
