Beginning Monday, August 24 and continuing through approximately Friday, August 28, Escalator No. 27, which serves Track 3 at Secaucus Junction is temporarily out of service as part of a scheduled clean down.

During this time, customers may use escalators 21 on the west end, 30 at the extreme east end or the passenger service Elevator No. 2.

We appreciate your patience during this important cleaning and maintenance work.

Effective immediately and continuing for approximately four weeks, the Eastbound Platform, serving Track 2 at Short Hills Station will be partially restricted due to platform upgrade work.

Possible delays of up to 20 minutes in both directions 

Beginning on Friday, August 28 at 10PM and continuing until Monday, August 31 at 5AM, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Morris & Essex Line customers may experience service delays of up to 20 minutes in and out of Penn Station New York due to Amtrak track maintenance work.

Beginning Friday, October 30 and continuing until Sunday, November 1, Port Jervis Line trains will be replaced by buses between Port Jervis and Harriman stations due to Metro-North infrastructure maintenance.

Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT’s Main/Bergen County Line trains during this time are advised to click on the Metro-North schedule, which includes busing schedules and further details for this outage that may impact your trip.

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Escalators 3 and 4 at Hamilton Station are temporarily out of service for repairs.

During this time, customers may use nearby elevator or stairs to access the platform.

For your safety, please do not travel through barricaded areas. Escalator stairs are closed. Do not remove barricades.

Beginning on Friday, August 21 at 10PM and continuing until Monday, August 24 at 5AM, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Morris & Essex Line customers may experience service delays of up to 20 minutes in and out of Penn Station New York due to Amtrak track maintenance work.

Possible delays of up to 15 minutes

Beginning at 9AM and continuing until 7PM Saturday, August 29, westbound trains may arrive at Dover Station up to 15 minutes late due to track maintenance near Dover station.

This is in addition to any existing work-related delays affecting Midtown Direct service. Please allow for extra travel time.

Beginning on Monday, August 17, and continuing until approximately December 2020, platform upgrade and repair work will occur on the westbound platform at Track 4, the eastbound platform at Track 1 and the Dinky platform at Princeton Junction Station.
