Effective Monday, November 13, and continuing through approximately October 2024, the escalator located within the station building, servicing the Eastbound Platform, will be closed and the surrounding areas by the escalator will be barricaded. Additionally, the east-end staircase on the westbound platform (Somerset and George streets) remains closed until further notice.

On Wednesday, June 28, the seating in the main waiting room at Hoboken Terminal will be limited between 8AM and 7PM due to a special event. We ask that customers please utilize alternative seating in and around the station.

Beginning Tuesday, June 27 at 9AM and continuing until further notice, the west-end platform (near Madison and Park avenues) at Park Ridge Station will be closed for construction.

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the restrooms at Orange Station will be temporarily unavailable due to emergency sewer line repairs. There will be portable restroom facilities available on-site during this time. 

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the east end of the platform at Roselle Park Station will be closed due to an ongoing ADA improvement project.

Possible delays up to 20 minutes

On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, for approximately 24 hours, the restrooms at Morris Plains Station will be closed due to repairs.

Beginning today, NJ TRANSIT is launching a “Know Your ABCs,” campaign to encourage customers to be familiar with their “alternates, backups and contingencies” in case of a major service disruption.

Effective immediately and continuing until the summer of 2025, a portion of the Eastbound Platform (West end) and Westbound Platform (East end) at North Elizabeth Station will be closed for a major platform renovation.
