North Jersey Coast Line: Possible Delays due to Track Maintenance – Effective Weekends, from Saturday, February 14, until Sunday, March 15, 2026

From 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, westbound North Jersey Coast Line trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes due to construction near Perth Amboy Station. 

The following trains may be affected: 

  • Westbound trains from Woodbridge Station to Long Branch Station. 
  • Connecting shuttle trains from Long Branch Station to Bay Head Station.

We appreciate your patience as we accommodate this temporary adjustment. 

Northeast Corridor: Morning Schedule Change at Jersey Avenue Station – Effective Friday, January 30, 2026

Beginning Friday, January 30, and continuing until further notice, Train 3706 (6:15 AM departure) will not serve Jersey Avenue due to weather-related switch problems in the yard adjacent to Jersey Avenue Station. This train will begin passenger service from New Brunswick Station at 6:23 AM. 

Customers boarding at Jersey Avenue Station can use Trains 3704 (5:46 AM departure) or 3708 (6:41 AM departure).

Newark Airport Rail Station: Buses Replace NJ TRANSIT Trains – Saturday, February 21 & Sunday, February 22, 2026

Beginning Saturday, February 21, at 9:30 PM, and continuing until Sunday, February 22, at 10:00 AM, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Station will be closed to support work on major station projects, including construction of a new station entrance and work related to the replacement of the current AirTrain system. 

NJ TRANSIT Service Updates: Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Tuesday, January 27: All bus, light rail and Access Link services are operating on regular weekday schedules. Rail service is operating on a severe weather - Level 2 schedule. The Atlantic City Rail Line is operating a regular weekday schedule.

On Wednesday, January 28, all rail service will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
