NJ TRANSIT: Service to Walter Rand Transportation Center Temporarily Suspended due to Demonstration Activity – Saturday, October 24, 2020
Beginning at 9AM and continuing through 5PM Saturday, October 24, bus service at Walter Rand Transportation Center will be suspended due to demonstration activity at the intersection of Broadway and MLK Boulevard.

The following NJ TRANSIT bus routes traveling through Camden will operate on a detour: 313, 315, 317, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 412, 413, 419, 450, 452, 453, 457 and 551.
Penn Station New York: Escalator 5B Serving Tracks 9 & 10 Returned to Service - Effective Immediately

Secaucus Junction: Escalator 7 Serving Tracks G & H Temporarily Out of Service – Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 23, 2020
On Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23, Escalator 7, which serves tracks G and H on the Southern Mezzanine at Secaucus Junction (toward Hoboken), will be temporarily out of service as part of a scheduled clean down.

On Saturday, October 17 from 8AM to 5PM, North Jersey Coast Line customers may experience service delays of up to 20 minutes in both directions due to track work in the Woodbridge area.

Beginning Tuesday, October 13, Escalator No. 20, which is located at the west end of the platform for Tracks A/B at Secaucus Junction will be temporarily out of service as part of a scheduled clean down.
Newark Penn Station: Track 1 Escalator No. 7 Temporarily Out of Service - Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until approximately Friday, October 23, Escalator 7, which serves Track 1 at Newark Penn Station, will be temporarily out of service for repairs.
During this time, customers may use nearby stairs or the passenger elevator to access the platform.
NJ TRANSIT Deploys AquaTrack Units for Autumn Rail Cleaning - Beginning Sunday, October 11, 2020
Units clean leaves and residue from the rails to prevent wheel slippage
Beginning on Sunday, October 11, NJ TRANSIT will begin utilizing AquaTrack, a high-pressure power washing system, which removes leaves and oily residue from the tracks in an effort to prevent train delays caused by “slippery rail” conditions.
