UPDATE: Ramsey Route 17 Station: Eastbound Elevator Returned to Service - Effective Immediately

Buses Replace NJ TRANSIT Trains during Port Authority Maintenance at Newark Airport (EWR) Station & Monorail - Saturday, September 20, to Sunday, September 21, 2025
Beginning on Saturday, September 20, at approximately 9:30 PM and continuing until Sunday, September 21, until approximately 10:00 AM, NJ TRANSIT trains will bypass Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Rail Station in both directions while the Port Authority performs bi-annual maintenance at the Airport Rail Station.
Somerville Station: Restroom Closed - Effective Immediately
The restrooms will be closed until further notice due to updates.
During this time, customers may utilize the Porta-Johns located on the lower level of the station on track 2.

New Brunswick Station: Stationhouse Upgrade Work – Tuesday, September 9, 2025
From Tuesday, September 9, through Friday, September 19, the doors into the stationhouse at platform and street level will be undergoing upgrades. Please note that the station house will remain open during this time.
New Brunswick Station: Walkway Temporarily Closed – Tuesday, September 9, 2025
From approximately 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM, the walkway between the westbound train track and the Barnes and Noble at New Brunswick Station will be closed.
During this time, customers who need to access Somerset Avenue will need to go down the staircase from the platform to Easton Avenue, then proceed to Somerset Avenue.
Newark Penn Station: Escalator #14 Closed - Effective Immediately
Escalator 14 will be closed for repairs until further notice.
During this time, please use the adjacent staircase and elevator to access the lower levels.
NJ TRANSIT Offers Rail Service between Secaucus Junction & MetLife Stadium for Jets Football – Sunday, September 14, 2025
On Sunday, September 14, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to and from Secaucus Junction/Hoboken and MetLife Stadium for Jets football games.
NJ TRANSIT Labor Day Weekend Transportation – Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 1, 2025
On Labor Day Weekend, beginning with early getaway service on Friday, August 29, to Monday, September 1, NJ TRANSIT services will operate as follows:

Atlantic City Line: Weekday PATCO Service Limited Overnight – Beginning Sunday, August 31, 2025
Until further notice, PATCO service will not operate between 12:00 AM and 4:30 AM weekdays (Sunday night/early Monday through early Friday morning).
