Brick Church Station: Station House Renovation Work – Update Friday, August 15, 2025
UPDATE: Effective Tuesday, August 12, the second floor lobby waiting area will be closed to customers due to a temporary wall installation. During this time, customers will still have access to the stairwell, as well as the second-floor lobby door to the rail platform.
Beginning approximately in the summer of 2025 until the summer of 2026, the station house at Brick Church Station will be closed for a long-term renovation project.
Secaucus Junction: Bus Shuttle Service to MetLife Stadium for Monster Jam – Saturday, May 3, 2025
Beginning on Saturday, May 3 at 12:00 PM, NJ TRANSIT will provide shuttle buses to and from MetLife Stadium for Monster Jam. The shuttle buses will travel as follows:
Secaucus Junction: North Road Overnight Closure – Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29, 205
Effective Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29, each night from 9PM to 5AM, North Road at Secaucus Junction will be closed due to infrastructure improvements.
NOTES:
Newark Penn Station: Multiple Entrances Closed due to Construction – Effective Friday, April 25, 2025
Beginning on Friday, April 25 at 8PM until Saturday, April 26 at 5AM, Raymond Boulevard Bus Lanes, the Station Concourse Entrance, and the Market Street entrance to Track 5 will be closed at Newark Penn Station due to Newark Penn Station improvement work.
Metropark Station: Construction Activity – Wednesday, April 30, 2025
Effective Wednesday, April 30, construction activity adjacent to the Metropark Station sidewalk (towards Wood Avenue) will occur.
During this time, we ask that customers be aware of the construction activity and follow all posted signage.
Summit Station: Parking Lot 14 Partial Closure – Thursday, May 8, 2025
On Thursday, May 8, from 11AM until 3PM, parking lot 14 at Summit Station will be partially closed due to a special event.
During this time, please utilize other parking spots at the station. Please allow for extra time to navigate the station.
We appreciate your patience as we accommodate this temporary adjustment.
Hazlet Station: Track 2 Partial Stairway Closure – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, April 25, the left side of the Track 2 staircase will be closed due to repairs. Please note that during this time, the right side of the stairs will be open for customer use.
Customers are encouraged to obey all posted signage and avoid active construction work during this time.
Secaucus Junction: North Road Closure – Sunday, April 27, 2025
Effective Sunday, April 27, from 8AM to 8PM, North Road at Secaucus Junction will be closed due to infrastructure improvements.

Metropark Station: Construction Activity – Friday, April 18, 2025
Effective Friday, April 18, construction activity will occur adjacent to the Metropark Station sidewalk (towards Wood Avenue).
During this time, we ask that customers be aware of the construction activity and follow all posted signage.
North Jersey Coast Line: Delays Due to Bridge Maintenance – Effective Saturday, May 3, 2025
On Saturday, May 3, from approximately 6:30AM until approximately 9:00 PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 15 minutes due to bridge maintenance in Red Bank.
Eastbound: Trains may be delayed from Red Bank to New York.
