Effective Wednesday, May 14 and continuing until approximately Wednesday, May 21, each day from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Brick Church Way will be closed due to infrastructure improvements at Brick Church Station. 

Effective Monday, May 12, the east end of the Track 1 platform (to Long Branch/Bay Head) will be open for high-level boarding while NJ TRANSIT continues work on the Perth Amboy Station reconstruction project. 

LIMITED PARKING OPTIONS:

A portion of the commuter parking lot located adjacent to Market Street continues to be temporarily closed. Customers may use other available parking spaces in the lot. 

Beginning Saturday, May 10, NJ TRANSIT will offer North Jersey Coast Line rail service to Monmouth Park when the track is open for live racing:

Effective immediately and continuing until approximately Summer of 2026, Escalators 3 and 4, serving the Westbound Platform toward Trenton at Hamilton Station will remain out of service for upcoming long-term upgrade and enhancement project work.

On Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert.

Beginning Monday, May 19, and continuing through Friday, May 23, each day from 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM, eastbound trains between Garwood Station and Newark Penn Station/Penn Station New York may be delayed up to 10 minutes due to track maintenance.

Effective immediately and continuing until approximately Friday, May 2, the westbound elevator at Hamilton Station will be temporarily out of service for repairs.

During this time, customers may use the nearby staircase. The nearest accessible stations are Trenton Station or Princeton Station.

For your safety, please do not travel through barricaded areas.

As a result of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLET) membership voting down a tentative agreement reached between NJ TRANSIT and the BLET leadership, the BLET is threatening to strike as early as Friday, May 16 at 12:01 AM.

Effective Thursday, May 1, Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, each day from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Brick Church Way will be closed due to infrastructure improvements at Brick Church Station. 

UPDATE: Effective Tuesday, August 12, the second floor lobby waiting area will be closed to customers due to a temporary wall installation. During this time, customers will still have access to the stairwell, as well as the second-floor lobby door to the rail platform. 

Beginning approximately in the summer of 2025 until the summer of 2026, the station house at Brick Church Station will be closed for a long-term renovation project.
