Penn Station New York: Multiple Elevators Temporarily Unavailable – Wednesday, March 26, 2025

Effective Wednesday, March 26, between the hours of 10AM and 12PM, elevator P1A (tracks 1 and 2), elevator P2A (tracks 3 and 4), elevator P3A (tracks 5 and 6), and elevator P4A (tracks 7 and 8) will be out of service sequentially due to inspection.

During this outage, staircases and escalators will be available to customers. Customers requiring ADA assistance can utilize the elevators on the 8th Avenue (West) end of the platform.

Effective Thursday, March 27, between the hours of 10AM and 12PM, elevator P5A (tracks 9 and 10), elevator P6A (tracks 11 and 12), and elevator P7A (31st Street) will be out of service sequentially due to inspection.

During this outage, staircases and escalators will be available to customers. Customers requiring ADA assistance can utilize the elevators on the 8th Avenue (West) end of the platform.

NJ TRANSIT Offers 50% Discount on Roundtrip Travel from Hackettstown, Mount Olive, Netcong, Lake Hopatcong & Mount Arlington to Assist Commuters Impacted By Emergency Repair Work on I-80

Effective Monday, March 24, customers traveling from Hackettstown, Mount Olive, Netcong, Lake Hopatcong, and Mount Arlington affected by the ongoing emergency repair work on I-80 will not need to purchase a fare when boarding trains. Customers at these stations should inform the train crew if they are transferring at Newark Broad Street Station or Summit Station to continue their trip to Penn Station New York. They will receive a transfer ticket to present to the crew on the connecting train.

Raritan Valley Line: Modified Weekday Schedule – Monday, April 7 Through Friday, April 18, 2025 – To Accommodate Critical Amtrak State-of-Good-Repair Work On Overhead Wires East of Newark Penn Station

Effective Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 18, Raritan Valley Line trains will operate on a modified weekday schedule to accommodate critical Amtrak overhead wire work. The work being performed by Amtrak is part of a series of state-of-good-repair work on overhead wires on the Northeast Corridor in advance of the summer months that will help ensure reliability for Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT customers traveling to and from New York.

Hamilton & Princeton Junction Stations: Track 1 Unavailable – Friday, May 16, to Monday, May 19, 2025

Beginning 10:00 PM on Friday, May 16 and continuing until 5:00 AM on Monday, May 19, trains will not have level detraining/boarding available on Track 1 (to Newark/New York) at Princeton Junction and Hamilton stations due to Amtrak track work.

During this time, trains at these stations will arrive and depart from Track 2, and customers will use platform extensions for level boarding and detraining.
