Bergen County Line Delays due to Track Work – Saturday, July 13, 2024
Effective Saturday, July 13, from 7AM until 3PM, Bergen County Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 20 minutes due to track work:
Penn Station New York: Elevator P6A Temporarily Out of Service – Effective Wednesday, June 26, 2024
Effective Wednesday, June 26, from 10AM until approximately 6PM, Elevator P6A, which services tracks 11 and 12, will be out of service due to repairs.
During this time, customers can access tracks 11 and 12 by utilizing the nearby staircases, escalators, and elevators. Customers requiring ADA assistance will be able to access elevators on the west end of the platform.
Raritan Valley Line: Buses Replace Trains Between Cranford and Newark – Saturday, July 13, 2024
On Saturday, July 13, for the entire service day (6AM Saturday until 2:30AM Sunday, July 14), Raritan Valley Line trains will be replaced by NJ TRANSIT buses between Cranford and Newark to support track upgrades on Conrail’s Lehigh Line.
Metropark Station: Construction Activity Resulting in Changed Traffic Patterns – Monday, March 30, 2026
Effective Monday, March 30, 2026, please be aware of new traffic patterns along Middlesex Turnpike, improving access to Metropark Station:
Ridgewood Station: East-End Staircase Closed – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately, the east-end staircase located at East Ridgewood Avenue and North Broad Street at Ridgewood Station will be temporarily closed due to repairs.
During this time, customers can use the ramp opposite the staircase near the Thai Taan Station restaurant.

Elizabeth Station: Drop-Off Area Temporarily Closed – Tuesday, June 18, 2024
On Tuesday, June 18, from approximately 10AM until approximately 1PM, West Grand Street will be closed between Broad and Union streets due to a special event.
MetLife Stadium: NJ TRANSIT Offers Rail Service between Secaucus Junction & MetLife Stadium for COPA America Soccer Matches – Tuesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 27, 2024
On Tuesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 27, NJ TRANSIT will offer Rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the COPA America soccer matches.
July Monthly Passes Available – Effective June 19, 2024
NJ TRANSIT would like to remind customers that beginning on June 19 at 5PM through July 10, all July monthly passes for bus, rail, and light-rail service will be available to purchase via ticket vending machines, at ticket offices, and in the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App.
Passaic Station: Parking Spaces Limited – Effective Friday, June 14, 2024
On Friday, June 14, between 6AM and 6PM, a limited number of parking spaces will be available on the eastbound (to Secaucus/New York) side of Passaic Station due to tree removal.
During this time, we ask that passengers please utilize additional travel time to arrive at the station.
