On Monday, February 16, 2026, NJ TRANSIT Rail service will operate an enhanced weekend schedule for Presidents’ Day. The enhanced weekend schedule includes additional trains during the morning and afternoon/evening “peak” periods. NJ TRANSIT Rail Service for Presidents’ Day – Monday, February 16, 2026
On Monday, February 16, 2026, NJ TRANSIT Rail service will operate an enhanced weekend schedule for Presidents’ Day. The enhanced weekend schedule includes additional trains on certain lines during the morning and afternoon/evening “peak” periods. Penn Station New York: Tracks 7 and 8 Escalator Temporarily Unavailable – Thursday, February 12, 2026
From 10:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM, the escalator (4B) on Tracks 7 and 8 will be unavailable due to inspection.
During this outage, alternate staircases and elevators will be available to customers. Customers, including those requiring ADA assistance, can utilize the elevators and escalators on the 8th Avenue side of the station.
New Brunswick Station: Westbound Platform Waiting Area Closed - Effective Immediately
This closure will not impact access to the westbound platform.
Please use the eastbound platform waiting room.
