Effective Thursday, May 15 at 8:00 PM, and continuing until Friday, May 16 at 4:00AM, Livingston Avenue will be closed between East McClellan and East Mt. Pleasant avenues due to road work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 71 will operate on a detour as follows:

Effective immediately until Thursday, May 15, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Elizabeth Avenue will be closed between Lyons Avenue and Renner Avenue for a food drive. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 37 and 107 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:

Effective Wednesday, May 14, from 7:00 PM until Thursday, May 1, at 6:00 AM, Central Avenue will be closed between Newark Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard due to a special event.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 44 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:

Effective Wednesday, May 14, from 7:00 PM until Thursday, May 15, at 6:00 AM, Central Avenue will be closed between Newark Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Newark due to a special event.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 24 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:

Due to the potential strike by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, NJ TRANSIT will NOT operate rail or bus service to or from MetLife Stadium for the Shakira Concerts scheduled for Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16.

Effective on or about Wednesday, May 14, the following bus stops, affecting Bus Route Nos. 168, 178, 182, 751, and 755, will be added:

Effective immediately until Saturday, May 31, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Front Street will be closed between Maple Avenue and South Plainfield Avenue for electrical line installation.

Effective Monday, May 12, until Friday, May 23, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thomas Boulevard will be closed between Dodd Street and Washington Street for road work.

Effective Saturday, May 10, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Chestnut Street and Church Street in Williamstown due to a road closure. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 400 will operate on a detour as follows:

Effective Friday, May 9, from 1:00 PM and continuing overnight until 5:00 AM, Central Avenue will be closed between Newark Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard due to a special event.
