Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Liberty Street will be closed between Redneck Avenue and Main Street due to road construction.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 161 will operate on a detour as follows:
Bus Detour for Nos. 25, 70 & 375 in Maplewood – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until 6:00 PM on Monday, September 29, 2025, Springfield Avenue will be closed between Indiana Street and Burnet Avenue due to road work.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 25, 70 and 375 will operate on a detour as follows:
Bus Detour for Nos. 57 & 115 in Linden – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, Elizabeth Avenue will be closed between McCandless Street and Elizabeth Avenue due to road work.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 57 and 115 will operate on a detour as follows:
Bus Detour for No. 94 in Linden - Effective Immediately
Effective immediately until Saturday, September 27, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Elizabeth Avenue will be closed between Roselle Street and Elizabeth Avenue for road work.

Bus Detour for Nos. 601, 606, 608, 609, and 619 in Trenton - Effective Immediately
Effective Friday, September 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, State Street will be closed between Warren Street and Montgomery Street for road construction.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 601, 606, 608, 609, and 619 in Trenton will operate on a detour as follows:
Bus Detour for Nos. 24 & 108 in Newark – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until 4:00 PM on Friday, September 26, Central Avenue will be closed between Washington and Broad streets due to building demolition.

Effective immediately and continuing until 4:00 PM on Friday, September 26, West Madison Avenue will be closed between Park Avenue and Veterans Plaza due to road construction.

Effective immediately until 4:00 PM, Gorge Road will be closed between Anderson Avenue and Palisade Avenue for road work.
