On Saturday, November 2, from 7AM until 5PM, schedule adjustments will occur due to construction along the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail.

On Wednesday, October 23, a number of River LINE employees indicated they plan to attend the funeral services of their colleague, River LINE operator Jessica Haley, who tragically lost her life in last Monday's accident. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Jessica's family.
Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes - Saturday, October 19, 2024
On Saturday, October 19 from approximately 6AM to 4PM, all trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Center Street, Atlantic Street, Ball Park, and Broad Street stations.
Newark Penn Station: Light Rail Escalators 4 and 5 Closed - Until Further Notice
Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, escalators 34 and 35 serving Newark Light Rail Platforms 4 and 5 at Newark Penn Station will be closed due to modernization upgrades.
During this time, customers may use elevator 32, located on Platform 4’s center island in the Newark Light Rail, and the staircases on Platforms 4 and 5 to enter the main level of Newark Penn Station.

On Saturday, October 19th, from 6AM until 6PM, schedule adjustments will occur due to construction along the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail.

UPDATE: River LINE Service Resumes - Tuesday, October 15, 2024
UPDATE: River LINE train service has resumed between Florence Station and Trenton Station with 15 to 20 minute delays in both directions due to operator availability.
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Tonnelle Avenue Roof Replacement – Effective Monday, October 14, 2024
Beginning Monday, October 14, and continuing weekdays from 7AM until 4PM until approximately Friday, October 25th, Tonnelle Avenue Station will be undergoing a roof replacement project.
During this time, the station will be open, but customers are advised to be aware of excessive noise levels, and hearing protection may be necessary.
Newark Light Rail: Construction Maintenance - Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 2024
On Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, each day from approximately 7AM to 4PM, all trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.
