Light Rail

On Saturday, April 22, schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to track work.

The Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Jersey City. The route of the marathon will require modified service on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) from 6AM until approximately 2PM as follows:

Effective immediately and continuing until Thursday, April 20 at 2AM, the parking lot of Liberty State Park Light Rail Station will be shared for film production vehicle parking. The parking lot will continue to be open to customers during this time.

On Saturday, April 15 at 3AM and continuing until Sunday, April 16, at 8PM schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to track work.

Beginning Monday, April 24 and continuing until Thursday, April 27, trains will terminate/originate at Walter Rand Transportation Center due to rail infrastructure repairs. Passengers will be bussed between Rutgers, Aquarium, and Entertainment Center stations to/from the Walter Rand Transportation Center.

On Saturday, April 8, from approximately 2AM until 4PM, the outbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street, and Park Avenue stations will be closed.
