On Sunday, August 29, NJ TRANSIT will offer Rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the Giants v. Patriots pre-season football game.

On Friday, August 27, NJ TRANSIT will offer Rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the Jets v. Eagles pre-season football game.

Effective immediately and continuing until approximately late September 2021, Escalator 8, which serves Track 1 at Newark Penn Station, will be temporarily out of service for modernization work.

During this time, customers may use Escalator No. 7, the nearby passenger elevator or stairs to access the platform. 

We appreciate your patience during this modernization work.

Effective immediately, Escalator 1B, which serves Tracks 1 & 2, located in the 7^th Avenue Concourse at Penn Station New York, will be temporarily out of service for repairs.

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, September 17, Escalator 8, which serves Track 1 at Newark Penn Station, will be temporarily out of service for modernization work.

During this time, customers may use Escalator No. 7, the nearby passenger elevator or stairs to access the platform.

Effective immediately and continuing through approximately late September 2021, Newark Broad Street’s University Avenue staircase, located on the Eastbound Platform of Track 2, will be temporarily out of service for platform repairs. 

During this time, customers may travel to the Newark Broad Street main entrance and use the staircase on Martin Luther King Blvd. to access the western location of the platform. Elevator service to access platform of Track 2 is available in the station plaza area.

On Monday, August 23 through Wednesday, August 25, Newark Broad Street’s Martin Luther King Blvd. staircase, located on the Westbound Platform of Track 2, will be temporarily out of service for platform repairs. 

During this time, customers may travel to the Newark Broad Street main entrance and use the staircase on University Avenue to access the eastern location of Platform 2. Elevator service to Platform 2 is also available within the tunnel from University Avenue.

On Sunday, August 22, NJ TRANSIT will offer Rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the Hot 97 Summer Jam event.

The Eastbound and Westbound elevators at Edison Station will be temporarily out of service for cleaning and repairs, one at a time, as follows:
