On Saturday, November 15, for the entire service day, Raritan Valley Line trains will be replaced by NJ TRANSIT buses between Cranford and Newark Penn stations due to Conrail track maintenance near Union Station.

From Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 AM, to Sunday, December 7, at 5:00 PM, trains on the Morris & Essex/ Montclair-Boonton Lines are subject to boarding changes at Newark Broad Street Station and delays of up to 15 minutes due to track work.

NOTE: All eastbound trains regularly scheduled to board from Track 2 will board from Track 1.

From 10:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM, the escalator (2B) on Tracks 3 and 4 will be unavailable due to inspection.

During this outage, alternate staircases and elevators will be available to customers. Customers requiring ADA assistance can utilize the elevators on both the 7th and 8th Avenue sides of the station.

Beginning at 5:00 AM on Saturday, November 22 and continuing until 3:00 AM Monday, November 24, service on the Montclair and Morristown Lines will be significantly affected by a bridge replacement project between Newark Broad Street Station and Hoboken Terminal. During this time, there will be no train service between Newark Broad Street station and Hoboken Terminal. 

On Sunday, November 16, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to and from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers football game.

On Saturday, November 8 at 10:00 PM through Sunday, November 9 at 6:00 AM, pedestrian access to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Station will be limited while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey work on long-term station improvements.

Customers should be aware of the following changes due to work taking place during this time: 

From 10:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM, the escalator (6B) on Tracks 11 and 12 will be unavailable due to inspection.

During this outage, alternate staircases and elevators will be available to customers. Customers requiring ADA assistance can utilize the elevators on the 7th and 8th Avenue sides of the station.

Elevator 42, providing access to Track 5, will be out of service due to repair work until further notice. 

During this time, customers are encouraged to use the adjacent escalators and elevator for platform access.

On Tuesday, November 4, from 10:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM, the escalator (5B) on Tracks 9 and 10 will be unavailable for inspection.

On Wednesday, November 5, from 10:00 AM until approximately 2:00 PM, the escalator (6B) on Tracks 11 and 12 will be unavailable for inspection.
