On Thursday, October 9, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to and from Secaucus Junction/Hoboken and MetLife Stadium for the Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles football game.
UPDATE: Montclair State University Station: Westbound Elevator No. 1 Returned to Service - Effective Immediately

Morristown Line and Montclair-Boonton Line: Schedule Adjustments – Effective Monday, September 29, 2025, and Continuing Until Further Notice
Update: Effective Tuesday, September 30, and continuing until further notice, the Morristown Line and Montclair-Boonton Line will operate on adjusted schedules due to ongoing repairs following Friday evening's slow-speed non-passenger work train derailment at Summit Station.
Due to operating on a single track between Millburn and Summit, passengers should allow additional travel time on all trains.
Montclair-Boonton/Morris & Essex Lines: Service Changes due to Bridge Replacement – Saturday, October 11 & Sunday, October 12, 2025
Beginning at 5:00 AM on Saturday, October 11, and continuing until 3:00 AM Monday, October 13, service on the Montclair and Morris and Essex Lines will be significantly affected by a bridge replacement project between Newark Broad Street and Hoboken Stations. During this time, there will be no train service between Newark Broad Street station and Hoboken Terminal.
During this time:
NEC, NJCL & Midtown Direct: Delays due to Amtrak Track Work – Until Further Notice
Beginning Friday, May 30, and continuing on weekends from 10:00 PM on Friday until 5:00 AM on Monday until further notice, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, and Midtown Direct trains may be subject to delays of up to 20 minutes in each direction due to Amtrak infrastructure improvements between Newark and New York.

- Trains may be delayed at Secaucus and New York Penn stations.
TRAINS FROM NEW YORK
Hamilton Station: Temporary Staircase Closure – Beginning Thursday, September 25, 2025
Until further notice, the north staircase on the outbound platform will be closed for repairs between 6:00 AM and 3:30 PM daily.
During this time, customers may use the nearby south staircase, or the elevator to access the inbound platform, the rest of the station and parking lot.

On Sunday, October 5, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to and from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the New York Jets vs. Dallas Cowboys football game.
North Jersey Coast Line: Possible Delays due to Track Maintenance – Sunday, January 4, 2026
Trains operating on the North Jersey Coast Line are subject to delays of up to 30 minutes in both directions due to track maintenance between Middletown and Hazlet stations during the following period:
- Sunday, January 4, from approximately 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
The following trains may be affected:
Penn Station New York: Early Ticket Office Closure – Monday, September 22, 2025
Penn Station New York’s 7th Avenue ticket office will close at 10:45 PM due to communications maintenance. The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 23, at 6:00 AM.
During this time, customers may purchase tickets at the vending machines located near the ticket office, on the elevator concourse, or on the mobile app.
