Effective Saturday, February 15, and continuing until further notice, each morning from 12:01AM to 4:59AM, the Raymond Boulevard bus lanes will be closed. All bus drop-offs from 12:01AM to 4:59AM will be at the Eastbound Market Street stop. 

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, escalator 4B serving tracks 7 and 8 will be out of service due to repairs.

Passengers requiring ADA assistance will be able to utilize the elevators on the 7th Avenue concourse, or the escalators on the 8th Avenue concourse.

Delays of up to 15 minutes possible

On Saturdays, February 15, and February 22, and Sunday, February 23, each day from approximately 6:30AM until approximately 5:30PM, Main Line trains may be subject to delays of up to 15 minutes between Kingsland Station and Clifton Station due to signal maintenance.

Delays of up to 25 minutes possible

On Sunday, March 9, from approximately 6AM until approximately 7PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains may be subject to delays of up to 25 minutes between Avenel and Long Branch stations due to track maintenance.

NJ TRANSIT services will operate on full regular weekday service on Rail, Bus, Light Rail, and Access Link. Due to extreme temperatures, systemwide cross-honoring will remain in effect through Friday, January 24.

To accommodate comprehensive infrastructure maintenance and upgrades being conducted by Port Authority of New York and New Jersey at PATH’s Hoboken Station, all PATH train service at Hoboken Terminal will be temporarily suspended beginning Friday, January 31, and continuing until 5AM on Tuesday, February 25.  

On January 20, 2025, NJ TRANSIT Rail service will operate an enhanced weekend schedule for MLK, Jr. Day. The enhanced weekend schedule includes additional trains during the morning and afternoon/evening “peak” periods. See shaded trains in timetables and printable schedules and check footnotes for operating dates.

Effective Monday, January 13, and Tuesday, January 14, each day from approximately 9AM to approximately 5PM, select areas of Princeton Junction Station will be unavailable due to maintenance.

During this time, the waiting rooms will remain open. We ask that customers avoid construction areas and follow all posted signage.

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the bathrooms at South Amboy Station will be closed due to modernization.

During this time, customers can utilize the bathrooms on board the train or at Matawan Station.

Beginning at 5AM on Saturday, January 11, and continuing until early March 2025, Track 1 (to Newark/New York) will be unavailable at Princeton Junction and Hamilton stations due to Amtrak track work.
