NJ TRANSIT Monitoring Forecast of Winter Weather Across the State Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025
At this time, NJ TRANSIT services will operate on full, regular weekday schedules and will continue to do so for as long as weather and road conditions safely allow. Customers who must travel are urged to build in extra time for their commute.
Morristown Station: Waiting Room Entrance Closed for Awning Repairs – Thursday, January 16, 2025
On Thursday, January 16 from 8AM to 4PM, the waiting room entrance from the Morristown Station bus lanes will be closed to repair an overhead awning.
During this time, customers may access the waiting room and ticket window from the platform entrance doors located on the opposite side of the building.
For your safety, please obey all posted signs and do not travel through barricaded areas.

On Sunday, January 5, NJ TRANSIT will offer Rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins football game.

Beginning at 7AM on Saturday, January 11 and continuing until 9PM on Sunday, January 12, M&E trains operating to Dover may face delays up to 20 minutes west of Madison Station due to infrastructure maintenance.

North Jersey Coast Line, Northeast Corridor, and Morris & Essex: Delays Up To 15 Minutes Due To Track and Infrastructure work – Friday, December 13, until Monday, December 16, 2024
Delays of up to 15 minutes possible
Beginning at 10PM on Friday, December 13, and continuing until 5AM on Monday, December 16, North Jersey Coast Line, Northeast Corridor, and Morris & Essex line trains are subject to delays of up to 15 minutes due to work on future infrastructure improvements between Newark Penn Station and Secaucus, as well as trackwork near Penn Station New York.
Secaucus Junction: Escalator to Tracks E&F Temporarily Unavailable – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until Monday, December 16, 2024, escalator 3 to the tracks E&F platform will be closed due to repairs.
During this time, customers may use the elevator and stairs to access the train platform.
