Newark Penn Station: Escalator 8 Platform 1 Temporarily Closed – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Escalator 8, which leads to Platform 1 from the main concourse area at Newark Penn Station is temporarily closed for repairs.
Port Jervis Line: Buses Replace Trains due to Track Work – Weekend, April 9-10, 2022
On Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, buses will replace Port Jervis Line trains at New York stations due to track work as follows:
East Orange Station: Tracks 1 and 2 Center Staircase Temporarily Closed for Repairs - Beginning Monday, March 28, 2022
Beginning Monday, March 28 and continuing for approximately two weeks, the Tracks 1 and 2 center staircase at East Orange Station will be temporarily closed for brick repairs.
North Jersey Coast Line & Northeast Corridor: Temporary Schedule Adjustments due to Laurel Avenue Bridge Repair Work – March 24, 2022 Through May 30, 2022
Effective immediately and continuing with an anticipated completion by Memorial Day weekend, temporary schedule adjustments are in effect on the North Jersey Coast Line (NJCL) and on trips from Rahway Station through Penn Station New York on the Northeast Corridor (NEC) to accommodate major repair work to the Laurel Avenue Bridge in Holmdel that was damaged by a truck in early March.
Gladstone Branch: Buses Replace Trains for Maintenance Work – Weekend – May 14-15, 2022
On the weekend of May 14-15, for the entire service day on both Saturday and Sunday, Gladstone Branch trains will be replaced by buses to support switch replacements near Gladstone Station and other maintenance work.
Secaucus Junction: Track 2 Escalator 28 Temporarily Out of Service - Effective Immediately
Effective immediately through Monday, March 28, Escalator 28, which serves northbound Track 2 at Secaucus Junction, is temporarily out of service for maintenance.
During this time, customers may use the adjacent stairway or the elevator at the south end of the platform.
UPDATE: Secaucus Junction: Tracks E-F Westbound Elevator PE1 Returned to Service - Effective Immediately
The Tracks E-F Westbound Elevator PE1 at Secaucus Junction has returned to service.
Princeton Junction, Hamilton Station & Princeton Dinky Shuttle: Temporary ADA Boarding Changes & Bus Replaces Princeton Dinky - Friday, May 13 until Monday, May 16, 2022
Beginning at approximately 9:30PM on Friday, May 13 and continuing until 5AM Monday, May 16, boarding changes will occur at Princeton Junction and Hamilton Station due to the completion of Amtrak infrastructure work.
ADA boarding will be adjusted on Sunday, May 15 at Princeton Junction and Hamilton Station, and customers requiring level boarding will be accommodated as detailed below.
Plauderville Station: Parking Lot Closed due to PSEG Work – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until approximately Friday, March 18, Lot 3 (small lot serving the Eastbound Platform) at Plauderville Station will be temporarily closed due to PSEG work at Henrietta Street between Outwater Lane and Jacob Stree
UPDATE: Morristown Station: Temporary Boarding Changes for Eastbound Platform Work – Beginning Wednesday, March 23, 2022
Beginning on or about Wednesday, March 23, and continuing for several weeks, the far-west end of the Eastbound Platform at Morristown Station will be temporarily closed due to concrete-patching work.
