On Saturday, September 23 from approximately 6AM until 4PM, all trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Norfolk Street, Orange Street, Park Avenue, Bloomfield Avenue, and Davenport Avenue stations. The inbound platforms at these stations will be closed.

On Saturday, September 23rd, and Sunday, September 24th, 2023, schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to construction.

On Saturday, September 16^th, and Sunday, September 17^th, 2023, schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Ligh

On Saturday, September 16 from approximately 6AM until 4PM, all trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Bloomfield Avenue and Davenport Avenue stations. The inbound platforms at these stations will be closed.

NJ TRANSIT pilots a new contactless payment method as part of the continued fare modernization initiative. Customers of select bus and light rail lines will be the first to test the easy tap to pay feature for adult one-way fares using contactless payment cards. 

To use this payment method, customers of buses operating from Morris Garage routes 872, 873, 874, 875, 878, and 880 or Wayne Garage bus route 161 should tap their card at the on-board validator (OBV) as they board and inform the operator of the number of zones they wish to travel.

On Saturday, September 9 from approximately 6AM until 4PM, all trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Bloomfield Avenue and Davenport Avenue stations. The inbound platforms at these stations will be closed.

On Saturday, September 2 from approximately 6AM until 4PM, all trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Bloomfield Avenue and Davenport Avenue stations. The inbound platforms at these stations will be closed.

On Monday, September 4 (Labor Day), NJ TRANSIT Light Rail service will operate on modified service schedules as outlined below.
