NJ TRANSIT Rail, Light Rail, and Bus Service for Presidents’ Day – Monday, February 16, 2026

RAIL:

On Monday, February 16, 2026, NJ TRANSIT Rail service will operate an enhanced weekend schedule for Presidents’ Day. The enhanced weekend schedule includes additional trains during the morning and afternoon/evening “peak” periods. See shaded trains in timetables and printable schedules and check footnotes for operating dates.

River LINE: Service Adjustment for Memorial Service – Wednesday, February 11, 2026

Between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, River LINE service will not operate between Walter Rand Transportation Center and the Waterfront Entertainment Center Station due to a memorial service. 

A supplemental bus service will be available to customers during these hours.

Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Limited Parking Available at Tonnelle Avenue Station – Thursday, January 29, to Sunday, February 1, 2026

Sections of the parking lot will be unavailable beginning at 4:00 AM on Thursday, January 29, through 2:00 AM on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Customers are asked to park in the open spots and avoid the closed areas. Please allow for extra travel time.

NJ TRANSIT Service Updates: Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Tuesday, January 27: All bus, light rail and Access Link services are operating on regular weekday schedules. Rail service is operating on a severe weather - Level 2 schedule. The Atlantic City Rail Line is operating a regular weekday schedule.

On Wednesday, January 28, all rail service will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

RAIL:

On January 19, 2026, NJ TRANSIT Rail service will operate an enhanced weekend schedule for MLK, Jr. Day. The enhanced weekend schedule includes additional trains during the morning and afternoon/evening “peak” periods.
